Sr. Manager, Learning Delivery - Seattle, WA (Hybrid)
As the Senior Manager, Learning Delivery, you will lead the delivery and enablement of learning experiences across Nordstrom. This role leads a team of learning professionals and operates as part of an integrated Talent Management & Learning ecosystem. The Sr. Manager, Learning Delivery is part of the Learning Center of Excellence which sets enterprise learning standards and delivery practices, working in close partnership with role-based training teams. This leader will work in close partnership with members of the following teams: Talent Design, Talent Development, Learning Operations, and Talent Enablement & Culture.
Success in this role requires strong people leadership, a nuanced understanding of Nordstrom’s workforce and business context, deep expertise in adult learning and facilitation, and outcome-driven project management oversight to deliver results in a complex environment.
A day in the life…
Lead, coach, and develop a team of learning professionals responsible for learning delivery, facilitation enablement, and capability building.
Work with HR Partners and Select Business stakeholders to align learning strategies, set delivery expectations, define success measures and communicate learning impact.
Partner with Talent Design and Development Program leaders to ensure learning experiences are delivered as intended and aligned to enterprise priorities.
Collaborate with Learning Operations to ensure delivery is scalable, operationally sound, and supported by effective systems, processes, and governance.
Work closely with the Talent Enablement & Culture team to ensure learning delivery reinforces desired behaviors, leadership expectations, and cultural outcomes.
Apply a strong understanding of our people, roles, and business realities to taiEnable learning delivery at scale by selecting and applying the appropriate build, buy, curate, or DIY approach based on learner need and context.
Lead and evolve enterprise facilitation standards, ensuring quality across inBuild facilitator capability and confidence across centralized and decentralized audiences.
Establish and sustain a Community of Practice that supports consistency, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement among learning partners.
Apply strong project and program management discipline to plan, sequence, and deliver complex learning initiatives—managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
Use data, feedback, and learner insight to continuously improve learning delivery effectiveness and experience.
You own this if you have…
6+ years of experience in Learning, HR, Talent Management, or a closely related field, with a strong foundation in adult learning principles.
Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams, including managers or senior individual contributors.
Proven success delivering learning in complex, decentralized organizations.
A strong understanding of how business context, employee experience, and learning delivery intersect.
Deep knowledge of learning solution approaches and how to apply them effectively.
Experience leading facilitation and instructor led learning at scale.
Strong project and program management skills, with experience delivering multiple, interdependent initiatives.
Strong collaboration and influence skills, with comfort working primarily through internal TM&L partnerships.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity through structure, prioritization, and disciplined execution.

This is hybrid role requiring the selected candidate work onsite four (4) days per week and live within a commutable distance of the Nordstrom corporate offices in downtown Seattle, WA
