Sr. Benefits Analyst - Seattle, WA (Hybrid)

We are seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst who will play a key role in supporting a broad range of benefit programs across the organization. This position is a highly skilled individual contributor responsible for analyzing, managing, and optimizing programs that span retirement, health, and other employee benefits. The Senior Benefits Analyst partners closely with internal teams and external vendors, leads annual renewal and implementation efforts, recommends plan design enhancements, and ensures best-in-class solutions for our employees. This role requires a collaborative team player with the ability to navigate multiple programs and deliver strategic, data-driven insights that support organizational goals

A day in the life...

  • The ideal candidate has strong knowledge and experience in managing a broad range of benefits. They effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and can act as a subject matter expert.

  • Takes full ownership of assigned programs, providing expert guidance and resolving escalations with clarity and confidence.

  • Interprets and administers programs in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations

  • Ability to effectively partner and collaborate with cross functional teams

  • Analyzes plan data and develops metrics, reporting and strategies that drive participation and efficiencies

  • Manages complexity by applying sound judgment, identifying root causes, and evaluating implications to recommend informed, practical solutions that support our business.

  • Ensures Plan documents, Summary Plan Descriptions and processes are current and accurately reflect plan rules and operations

  • Provides communication, training and support to ensure effective rollout and understanding of plans / programs

  • Partners with all members of the benefits team to ensure effective execution of benefits strategies

  • Manages third party vendor relationships to ensure best-in-class delivery of services

You own this if you have...

  • 6+ years of experience managing large, benefit plans and driving operational excellence

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or benefit or human resources certification preferred (CEBS, PHR, SPHR, SHRM CP or SCP)

  • Ability to effectively manage vendor partners

  • Proven track record of leading annual renewals, plan design changes, and net new vendor implementations.

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex, multi-priority projects with agility; adept at supporting rapid change, adapting to evolving requirements, and delivering results independently

  • Proven ability to clearly communicate to large audiences’ complex information.

  • Experience working across HR, Legal, Finance, and external vendors to build solutions for employees.

  • Deep understanding of local, state and federal benefit regulations and contract requirements (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, etc.).

Location:

This is a hybrid role requiring the selected candidate to work onsite four (4) days per week at our Seattle, WA corporate offices and live within a commutable distance.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$92,000.00 - $155,000.00 Annual

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
