Senior Insurance Program Manager (Hybrid, Seattle)
The Legal team is looking for a passionate and dynamic team player who has experience in risk management and insurance. This position will report to the Senior Director of Insurance and will be part of a broader team responsible for risk management, finance, and legal operations. If you’re interested in making an impact, diving into data, and owning your work, this would be a good fit.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Senior Director with all insurance procurement functions, including market strategy development, data submissions, quote evaluations, carrier selection and binding as well as manage premium expenses and budget
- Partner with Strategic Sourcing and Real Estate to review draft agreements and contracts, and provide guidance and recommendations to terms and conditions as it relates to insurance requirements for third party vendors and partners
- Evaluate and recommend risk transfer options and provide written analysis, including claims coverage analyses for internal stakeholders
- Manage property incidents and claims utilizing Origami Risk (risk management information system) and partner with Facilities, Asset Protection and other key stakeholders to reduce risk exposure and secure recoveries
- Manage building/property risk prevention and risk engineering improvement initiatives with Facilities and our property insurers
- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key underwriters, service providers, brokers, and internal customers
- Support other key programs for Risk Management such as the commercial surety bond procurement, certificates of insurance (COI) management, and Vendor Desk support on all insurance related inquiries
You own this if you have…
- Minimum of 10 years of risk management and insurance experience
- Proficiency in commercial insurance products, terminology, policy forms and risk analysis
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Experience with Origami Risk or similar Risk Management Information System (RMIS)
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing environment
