Senior Business Process Improvement Manager - Inventory Operations - HYBRID

The Senior Business Process Improvement Manager is an effective leader, problem solver, and committed to using business process methodologies (BPM) to improve the productivity and engagement of the organization through better processes, tools and thinking. This role sits in the Inventory Operations org and is focused on Inventory processes which can connect upstream and downstream with Merch, Store, and Supply Chain processes.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive and results oriented. This individual has a unique blend of retail business knowledge, BPM skills (including notation), project or program management skills, and technical knowledge or analysis skills. 

A Day in the Life… 

  • Design & document processes to implement strategies/roadmaps across multiple capabilities and areas. 
  • Strategically architect Inventory processes 1-3 years into the future, with a focus on efficient automation and industry standard approaches.
  • Lead key stakeholders through proposed strategies or roadmaps and be able to communicate impacts and risks associated with change. 
  • Work with users to understand pain points and optimization opportunities that are vital to stepping from an AS-IS state to North Star State.
  • Be customer focused and use process to understand and illustrate the problem.  
  • Builds trust by acting as a liaison between business leadership stakeholders, product managers and technology. 
  • Lead process design to facilitate development of business solutions that combine knowledge of business processes and issues, general technological options and process improvement techniques. 
  • Manages complexity across multiple areas by breaking down the process and identifying areas for discovery efforts with cross functional partners.  
  • Demonstrates excellent decision quality when evaluating existing process to be able to effectively prioritize a path to North Star vision.

You own this if you have... 

  • 5+ years of experience with demonstrated, comprehensive knowledge of retail business landscape.
  • 3+ years of business process improvement experience within Inventory, Merchandising, or Supply Chain.
  • Hands‑on experience leveraging AI‑enabled tools (e.g., Claude or comparable platforms) to support process design, documentation, analysis, and problem solving.
  • Curiosity and continuous-learning mindset related to emerging AI capabilities and their application within this role and the broader Inventory and operations contexts.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive change in a complex and cross functional environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Capable of adjusting communication and work style to suit diverse teams.
  • Effective at leading and motivating others without direct authority-influence stakeholders and foster collaboration.
  • Demonstrated organization and prioritization skills within highly complex and cross functional projects.
  • Ability to illustrate what the long-term vision for a specific process should be, while defining prioritization standards to achieve this vision that delivers incremental value for customers.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously.

Additional Preferred Qualifications  

  • Lean Certification from an accredited organization. 
  • Have participated in/or led transformational organization change

Pay Range Details

Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$110,500.00 - $183,000.00 Annual

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
