Production Planner Senior, NPG (Nordstrom Product Group) - (Hybrid - Seattle, WA)

The ideal senior production planner is experienced, results oriented and committed to producing quality deliverables every day.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage issuing and maintaining purchase order data from commitment to shipment, ensuring PO accurately reflects multiple business channel requirements
  • Monitor all Work in Progress (WIP) activities from order placement to shipment
  • Track final garments for on-time delivery, manage exceptions and issue resolution
  • Manage calendar milestones for the category supported
  • Coordinate the management of the RTV, claims and disposition process
  • Partner with NPG Compliance and/or logistics to ensure manufacturer adheres to corporate compliance policy
  • Report and maintain raw material liabilities and utilization
  • Research and adjust purchase orders to meet business needs
  • Partner with accounts payable to research and reconcile purchase order and invoice cost discrepancies
  • Initiate and maintain supplier system setup
  • Support new supplier onboarding
  • Lead, manage and support production planners within area of responsibility
  • Manage and develop an efficient and effective design team through performance feedback, goal-setting and development plans

You own this if you have… 

  • BS or BA degree or equivalent work experience in related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience high-volume retail purchase order management
  • 1+ year experience managing and leading a team preferred
  • Experience with complex vendor management preferred
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Knowledge of an Oracle or SAP system preferred
  • Demonstrated strong problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Strong multi-task and prioritization skills

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$80,000.00 - $132,000.00 Annual

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
