Product Manager 2 - Selling Empowerment (Hybrid - Seattle)

The Selling Empowerment team equips store teams with intuitive, data-driven tools that help them understand performance, personalize customer engagement, and own their business. From Store Reporting to Personal Book, our goal is to empower employees with insights and capabilities that elevate the in-store experience.

As a Product Manager 2 on this team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping tools that drive selling behaviors and store performance. You’ll partner with engineering, design, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that are simple, scalable, and impactful for our store teams as they help customers look good and feel their best.

A Day in the Life

Define and Deliver Value

  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps for Selling Empowerment tools, prioritizing features based on user needs, business objectives, data insights, and competitive analysis.
  • Translate business goals into clear product requirements, including user stories, process flows, and wireframes.
  • Partner with engineering and design to ensure solutions are intuitive, integrated, and aligned with Nordstrom’s store strategy.

Drive Outcomes

  • Define and monitor success metrics, including OKRs and KPIs, to measure product impact and inform iteration.
  • Use data and user feedback to continuously improve usability and performance.
  • Support go-to-market activities, including UAT, communication plans, and change management.

Collaborate and Influence

  • Build strong relationships with your peers, selling leaders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels, from executives to in-store users, through clear storytelling and grounded optimism.
  • Facilitate alignment on priorities and expectations across business and technical teams.
  • Remain flexible and able to pivot based on new learnings, emerging opportunities, and evolving retail landscape.

Ensure Operational Excellence

  • Triage and resolve product issues/outages in partnership with engineering, ensuring system health and reliability.
  • Maintain a backlog of enhancements and technical debt, balancing short-term needs with long-term strategy.

You Own This If You Have

  • Experience: 3+ years of product management or equivalent experience, ideally in retail, e-commerce, or technology.
  • Customer Focus: Passion for creating tools that empower frontline employees and improve customer experience.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to define, measure, and analyze processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Technical Acumen: Familiarity with Agile methodologies, software development principles, and testing frameworks.
  • Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, analytics, and business teams.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences in a matrixed organization.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$121,500.00 - $188,500.00 Annual

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
