Manager Workforce Management 1 - Supply Chain - Elizabethtown, PA

arrow location Elizabethtown, PA 17022, United States of America

At Nordstrom, we’re committed to helping our customers feel good and look their best—and our Supply Chain team plays a vital role in making that happen. As part of our Operational Performance Management and Analytics (OPMA) team, you’ll help build the tools, systems, and insights needed to manage warehouse performance at scale. This team leads the charge in modernizing labor and scheduling systems, enabling real-time visibility into productivity, and scheduling the workforce in line with operational demand. Over the next few years, we’re focused on expanding Manhattan Active Labor Management (MALM) across our network, exploring predictive scheduling and labor modeling, and launching performance-based incentive programs. In this role, you’ll be at the center of that transformation—empowering teams with data-driven decision-making, streamlining operations, and driving measurable impact. If you're energized by solving complex problems, leading change, and helping teams perform at their best, this is the opportunity for you.

A day in the life…

  • Lead execution of productivity and workforce management programs across the Supply Chain network by aligning daily operations with program goals, auditing site processes for compliance, and delivering actionable insights to warehouse leadership through data analysis and reporting.

  • Configure labor management systems and update workflows to reflect productivity measurement standards for new processes in partnership with Operations, Product, and Technology teams; then lead change management efforts by communicating system changes to Operations teams, supporting adoption, and ensuring alignment with updated productivity standards.

  • Own daily schedule generation in Workday and partner with HR, Legal, and Operations to ensure system configurations support desired business outcomes.

  • Drive strategic initiatives including network-wide adoption of Manhattan Active Labor Management (MALM), evaluation of predictive scheduling tools, and development of performance-based incentive programs that align individual contributions with operational goals.

  • Recruit, select, and onboard top talent, motivate and develop teams, organize and encourage teamwork through collaboration and relationship building to ensure program objectives are met.

You own this if you have…

  • 3+ years of people management with experience (support team experience preferred)

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent experience

  • Strong project management and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and WMS/LMS/WFM systems (experience with Manhattan Active and Workday preferred)
