Food and Beverage Manager - NYC Flagship & Men's Store NYC
The Food & Beverage Manager (F&B Manager) is the primary onsite operational leader for all food and beverage businesses within Nordstrom New York City Flagship and Men’s Store. Reporting to the Area Manager – Restaurants & Specialty Coffee, this role is accountable for daily execution, operational consistency, and guest experience across restaurants, bars, specialty coffee, and catering/events.
This leader maintains a strong on‑site presence, providing hands‑on support, real‑time coaching, and problem solving for Restaurant General Managers, Specialty Coffee Managers, and the Restaurant Inventory Control Team. While General Managers retain full responsibility for the day‑to‑day performance of their individual units, the Food & Beverage Manager provides portfolio‑level oversight, including on‑site coordination and operational support for food and beverage events and the Events Specialist, ensuring execution aligns with daily operations. Through this model, operational standards are consistently executed and business priorities are translated into clear daily operating behaviors across all supported concepts.
Partnering closely with Store Managers and in‑store leaders, this role ensures food and beverage operations are fully integrated into the rhythm of the building, including staffing, peak‑period execution, activations, and events. This leader also models Nordstrom Values and fosters a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement in a fast- paced, multi-unit environment, while building the skills and rigor required to becoming a future Area Manager.
