We're looking for an entry-level Platform Engineer to join our Developer Compute team, where you'll help build and operate the foundational infrastructure that powers our enterprise applications. You'll work with Kubernetes at scale, supporting critical systems that serve hundreds of applications across the business. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with production infrastructure while learning from experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

As a Platform Engineer on our team, you'll contribute to the deployment, operation, and continuous improvement of our Kubernetes platform. • Participate in the operational support of production Kubernetes infrastructure, including troubleshooting cluster issues, pod failures, and networking problems

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and testing

  • Implement and maintain security controls including RBAC policies, authentication mechanisms, and network policies

  • Monitor cluster health and performance using observability tools, responding to alerts and identifying optimization opportunities

  • Contribute to documentation, runbooks, and team knowledge sharing

  • Collaborate with application teams to support their infrastructure needs and resolve deployment issues

  • Participate in on-call rotation to ensure platform reliability and availability

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug technical issues systematically

Preferred

  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)

  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)

  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic)

  • Understanding of authentication and authorization concepts (OAuth, OIDC, RBAC)

  • Previous internship or project experience working with distributed systems

  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing)

We value curiosity, ownership, and a growth mindset. If you're passionate about infrastructure and eager to develop your skills in a production environment, we'd love to hear from you.
