Asset Protection - Project Manager 2 - Training & Execution

Project Manager 2 is key part of a team of professionals managing the execution of projects that deliver significant business value to Nordstrom and its customers. Over the course of a project, the Project Manager will need to communicate with cross-functional teams and end use customers to make decisions and monitor the progress of projects ensuring they stay on schedule.

In addition, you will ensure the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. Oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for management regarding status of project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages medium to large level project complexity
  • Utilize basic understanding of asset protection concepts, theories, and principles with business insights
  • Aligning cross-functional teams to the tasks
  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Identifies and communicates multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Communicating status, issues and/or changes with direct Manager to keep the project aligned with their goals
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs for the project change
  • Manages project lifecycle (i.e. requirements, scope, schedule, resources, testing, quality, release, costs, changes) for cross-functional initiatives
  • Demonstrates understanding, curiosity of modern business enterprises and the problems they encounter
  • Serving as a point of contact for cross-functional teams when multiple departments are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to identify problems and solutions to maintain the standards expected
  • Schedules and maintain tracking of monthly trainings
  • Assists with updates of on-boarding and asset protection training documents as needed.
  • Assists with clean up on old asset protection training and creation of new asset protection site.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3+ years’ Project Management Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or Smartsheet.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS), SCORM file creation, and e-learning platforms.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Problem-solving and adaptability.
  • CAPM (Certified associate in project management) a plus
  • Scrum Master or Agile Fundamentals certification.
  • Google Project Management Certificate or similar online programs

Pay Range Details
